In the summer 2017, I built (with the help of my father) a set of small broadband loudspeakers in order to dispose of a mobile Ambisonic reproduction system and run it with Ambitools.

The loudspeakers number and position are adapted to each situation.

Technical infos:

Loudspeakers

The speakers are 3” wideband speakers from Aura Sound: NS3-193-8A. They are assembled in a closed wooden cube shaped enclosure with all connections flush. This allows to easily create a line, a wall or other loudspeaker array configuration.

Stands

Having a limited budget, the speaker stands are made with the a telescopic painter’s pole plugged on a car brake disc!

Amplifiers

The amplifiers are made with Sure Electronics 6x100 Watt Class D Board - TDA7498.
